Exercise To Lose Belly Fat
I’ve been asked many times what the best exercises to lose belly fat is. The short answer is that ANY exercise is good, but some are better than others. Lets face it, you probably don’t like to exercise much do you? The simple fact is that if you’ve been inactive for a while the mere thought of exercise can be painful. On top of this, the additional weight can make exercising a painful experience since the added weight can be very demanding on your joints and your muscles.
Regardless of whether you like exercise or not, the simple fact is that you will have to exercise to lose belly fat. The good news is that you do not have to go through an army style bootcamp to get rid of the fat. You need to start slow and build on the previous day until you get your fitness level up. Exercise is the single most effective way to lose body fat.
One of the big reasons why so many people give up on their exercise regime is simply because they go at it the wrong way. It HAS to be fun and you have to either do something that you like or something that you think you might learn to love.
The important aspect is that you have to get at least 45 minutes of cardiovascular exercise 5 times a week. Honestly, if you haven’t got 6 hours a week to spend on your health then you don’t deserve to lose weight.
Here are some ideas for exercise to lose weight.
Walking. A great way to get started without the pain of running. By taking a brisk walk for 45 minutes can do wonders for your personal fitness. Although it’s not the most effective way to burn fat it is very effective in getting you active again. As you build your strength and your stamina you can start jogging and mixing a run into you walk until you are fit enough to run a full 45 minutes. Many marathon athletes started this way!
Swimming. One of my favorite forms of exercise to lose belly fat and one of the most effective ways to burn fat. Swimming can give you a high intensity workout without the stress and strain on your joints. This is a low impact exercise that delivers all the benefits you need in a fat loss exercise. Once again you have to start slow and build it up slowly. A 45 minute swim is a great workout!
Take up a sport. This is overlooked by most people as they get older and the excuse of “I haven’t got the time” is the number one reason why so many people never do it. It’s fun, it’s social and a great way to exercise without knowing it.
